2017 Jeep Wrangler will definitely keep its traditional look, but  with plenty design changes. Inside this new Wrangler, we also expect to see many updates.

The 2017 Jeep Wrangler will come with many significant changes. One of them will be a new aluminum-made body, which will provide significant weight loss and much better fuel economy. It all indicates that new model will get a unibody platform, instead of traditional body-on-frame platform. The first and biggest change, which is expected complete replacement of steel parts of the body, the new aluminum body-shell, expected to come with a black front and rear bumper, a fixed hoop for rollover protection, a soft-top convertible roof, driver and passenger external adjustable black door mirrors and complex surface lens halogen bulb headlights. Furthermore, there are plans to make movable rear window, a stability control gadget, beam front and rear suspension rigid comprising of stabilizer bar and coil springs. On its inte­rior, it brings 12v power outlet, RDS audio system with AM/FM and CD player with an ability to read MP3. There shall also be a digital clock, electronic traction control via ABS and engine management, an immobilizer, stability control features, new delayed fade courtesy lights, front seat, mug holders and bucket driver and passenger seat. Other additional features include height adjustable 3 point front seat belts and the driver and passenger seats, a front seat center armrest and a driver and passenger front airbags with multi-stage deployment. 2017 Ford Bronco can be considered like only true rival, as well as 2017 Land Rover Defender,  2017 Honda Ridgeline and 2017 Ford Ranger.


2017 Jeep Wrangler Diesel engine and MPG

2017 Jeep Wrangler comes with new engine. Old engine is going to be discontinued and replaced with two different models. The base model engine will be of a new 3 liter twin-turbocharged Pentastar V6 with up to 300 horsepower and more than 350 lb-ft of torque. The second is going to be a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 diesel with up to 240 horsepower and more than 400 lb-ft of torque. Both of these would use an 8 speed automatic and both of them would easily be able to provide the required torque in off-road or while towing large loads. With this powertrain diesel should have fuel economy rated at 23/30 mpg city/hwy.


2017 Jeep Wrangler Release Date and Price

2017 Jeep Wrangler will be released in 2016, on producers 75th Anniversary. The base price is likely going to increase to around $28,000 for base model while diesel option could cost to $31,000.
