2017 GMC Terrain – Price, Redesign, Specs

2017 GMC Terrain offers exciting features  competitive to latest SUV market. Terrain in as many as four trim levels and Denali is the top range trim here.


2017 GMC Terrain Changes

2017 GMC Terrain comes with a wide mask that is shiny and makes the vehicle look aggressive. There is also a powerful looking bumper that also houses the inbuilt modern fog lights. On the front there are beautifully designed LED head lights which make the front area look elegant. Engine is cooled by the air that comes in through the large air vents on the front lower area. The back side include restyled tail lights and more visible brake lights and redesigned exhaust system. This SUV has modern wheels and tough tires which work especially good for off-road. As for the cabin 2017 GMC Terrain, it will be sufficient in space as always, with comfortable leather upholstered seats. Children’s safety is also enhanced where there is room for a child seat. Interior features will include benchmarks such as a 4G LTE connectivity option and a standard backup camera. Other features to be seen will include a large touch screen panel, auto dimming mirror, satellite radio and navigation and connectivity ports for iPod and USB. Also key less starting option and a three spoke steering wheel.


2017 GMC Terrain Engines

2017 GMC Terrain will have engine like previous models with some changes. We espect two options. First a 3.6L LFX V6 engine that was able to produce up to 301hp and 272 lb.-ft. of torque, and 2.4L unit with 182hp and 172 lb-ft torque. This engine have ability to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5,5 seconds and top speed is 185 mph. He will most likely be offered in a front-wheel drive with 6-speed transmission, all wheel-drive could be offered as an option or standard in the Denali class. The fuel efficiency of this GMC is anticipated to be 20-23 mpg in city and 30-32 mpg on highways.


2017 GMC Terrain Release date and Price

2017 GMC Terrain thanks to this new redesign will have a slight increase price, but nothing too drastic. The base trim could start at about $30.000, while the top trim, the Denali could be about $40.000. Official release date is set for the first half of 2017. Main rival is 2017 Ford F-150 Atlas and 2017 Ford Raptor.
