2016 Ford Edge front takes on a new look as it now has a huge and dominant mask with the slim headlights similar to in the F150 model. The fog lights on the other hand are now following the contour of the intakes with a strip of LED for a very nice look. This model also comes with a splitter that enables easier and more convenient handling when speed is lower. Rear end has trapezoid lights with large rectangular exhaust pipes on its bumper. Inside was made to accommodate 5 passengers, who will enjoy the comfort. The seats are comfortable with leather upholstery. There is also an indispensable 7 inch touchscreen that is equipped with the latest infotainment system MyFord. Standard features include electric windows and seats, dual zone automatic climate control and audio system. Other useful features are rearview camera, parking assist, parking sensors and collision warning. Sony audio system with 12 speakers satellite navigation comes on high premium models.

2016 Ford Edge will get three different wise engines. Basic will have a 2 liter EcoBoost which is good for up to 245 horsepower and most likely over 270 lb-ft of torque. AWD 2 liter model will easily tow as much as 3500 pounds. This will provide 265 horsepower which is quite bad considering it has less torque than the base engine. The top models have the 2.7 liter V6 that can carry up to 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Also expected to use its 8 speed automatic gearbox that will ensure smoothness and responsiveness when you’re behind the wheel. Available as upgrade on all non-Sport models is the familiar 3.5-liter V-6 which made to accommodate future emissions standards and the electric steering system.

2016 Ford Edge you can start driving by the end of 2015. The base price for the car is $ 29,000 to $ 36,500. Model Sport will cost slightly more than $ 39,000. The main competitors in the market will be Toyota Venza, Buick Anthem 2016, Nissan Murano and Dodge Journey.
