2016 Buick Verano Redesign, Changes and Price

2016 Buick Verano brings us a whole new driving pleasure. Sophisticated lines and the desire to reach the competition were guiding producers of this model.

2016 Buick Verano will be built upon a new platform with some changes and improvements. This platform will widen this car and also make it lower beltline. Apart from new belt line, this Verano will get redesigned Buicks’s front chrome mask, new bumper and fresh set LED headlights. It promises to be better air flow which could make it more appealing than before.

A somewhat smaller interior space could be a problem but it should be resolved. Basic model comes with seats coated with fabric cloth, while the premium models include leather seats, heated steering wheel and heated front seats. Dashboard shouldn’t suffer many changes. New IntelliLink infotainment system is ready to run and 7-inch touch screen display shouldn’t be changed. New model will offer quite advanced pack of safety features. Some of them are10 mandatory airbags, stability and traction controls, anti-lock brakes with brake assist and a rear view camera. Premium group adds warning forward-collision, lane-departure, rear cross-traffic alert and side blind zone alert.


2016 Buick Verano Engine

The 2016 Buick Verano mover a 2.4 liter engine with 4 cylinders will run on regular gas and come in front wheel drive model and produce horsepower up to 180 hp. The engine will be coupled with 171 lb feet of torque at the rate of 4900 rpm, and will be paired with a 6 speed automatic transmission. Second type will be a 2.0-liter 4 cylinder regular gas engine. This engine will produce up to 250 hp at the rate of 5300 rpm and will have a torque of 260 lb feet of torque at the rate of 2000 rpm. This engine will also be coupled with 6 speed automatic transmission. Base engine should get its fuel economy ratings raised slightly to at least 25 mpg combined, while smaller powertrain could offer the combined figures close to 30 mpg mark.


2016 Buick Verano Price and Release Date

2016 Buick Verano in will be available before the end of 2015 years. Shouldn’t cost more than $24,000. Premium models won’t be available below a $30,000 mark and could cost even more considering all available options. His main competitor is 2016 Acura ILX.
