This is the first and only hybrid supercar designed, engineered and manufactured in the U.S. Since the 2013 concept car, the final model has grown in size: the new model is an inch wider, 0.6 inches taller and 0.8 inches longer in wheelbase. 2016 Acura NSX has a new front splitter, reshaped hood with two air vents. The debut car was rendered red with a contrasting black roof. A carbon-fiber roof will be optional. The wheels measure 19 by 8.5 inches in front, 20 by 11 inches in back, and are wrapped by 245/35 and 295/30. This car use Continental ContiSportContact tires. The new NSX comes with a minimalist interior, which means that its dashboard doesn’t feature many buttons. All you need can be found on the multifunction steering wheel with shift paddles. 2016 Acura NSX Hybrid Engine and Performance
2016 Acura NSX has inside the first turbocharged engine from this producer. This model has 75 degree, dry-sump V6 twin-turbocharged. The engine is supplemented by three electric motors. One is positioned between the engine and the nine speed dual clutch, automatic transmission, and one at each front wheel.
Hybrid power going to the back wheels and pure electric power, the NSX features a so called “Sport Hybrid Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive” system, much like that in the RLX hybrid, only reversed. Acura’s Integrated Dynamics System, which aligns power train and chassis responses, as well as engine sound, along preset levels: The settings include Quiet at speeds up to 50 mph, Sport, Sport+, and Track, the last unlocking the full spectrum of its performance.
